Experience
I am a licensed clinical social worker based in Los Angeles and offering mental health therapy appointments via telehealth throughout California. I received my undergraduate degree in child development and psychology from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. I went on to receive my Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California (USC).
As a Chinese American, I want to ensure that all individuals feel comfortable in seeking therapeutic services. I approach therapy with an individualized treatment plan to best fit you and your current situation. We will work together to utilize your strengths to manage everyday stressors, strengthen relationships, and empower yourself to make life choices.
Throughout my clinical experience, I have supported patients who are facing life transitions (ex: career, break up, pregnancy), as well as those struggling with anxiety and depression. I work at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit supporting families whose children need medical assistance and/or parents who have experienced traumatic deliveries. I have worked with individuals who have undergone oncological treatment - palliative and curative at City of Hope. Furthermore, I have supported medical providers as they navigate highly stressful environments and facing burnout.
Seeing a mental health therapist can be a difficult decision to make, and I will provide a safe space for you to explore therapy and provide the support you need.
